Bucs Compete at Ave Maria Invitational
AVE MARIA, Fla. – The University of the Virgin Islands men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Ave Maria Invitational.
Nasir Watson was 75th (39:30.9), Naythan Shaw-Clarke was 79th (42.39.7), Jalil Langston placed 80th (44:21.5) while Joel Contreras was 82nd (48:15.4) for the men's team.
On the women's side, Ariana Renault was the top UVI women's finisher as she placed 65th (31.19.4), MIa Davis placed 76th in 33:33.7 while Kashay Bass was 86th in 39:26.7.
The Bucs close out the regular season on Friday at the Florida Southern in Lakeland, Fla. at 6:00.
