
Men's Basketball Hits the Road for Three Games

ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands – The University of the Virgin Island men's basketball team will be back in action as the Buccaneers embark on a three-game road trip beginning on Wednesday at Tougaloo with tip set for 6:00 EST.

UVI will then head to Arkansas Baptist to take part in the ABC Basketball Classic on Friday and Saturday. The Bucs will play host Arkansas Baptist on Friday at 8:00 EST and close out the trip against Champion Christian on Saturday at noon EST.
Naythan Shaw-Clarke and Jalil Langston are each averaging 16.8 points per game this season to lead UVI, they are the only two players scoring in double figures.
Denny Gonzalez leads the Bucs with 6.5 rebounds per game while Eliyah Stevens (5.8) and Mario Dawson (5.3) are also averaging over five rebounds per game this season.
Stevens, who is averaging 8.3 points per game, is also shooting a team-high 65.2 percent from the field (15-23).
