SUMTER, S.C. – Naythan Shaw-Clarke had a double-double leading the Bucs with 27 points and a season-high 11 rebounds leading the University of the Virgin Islands to an 81-76 win over host Morris College.
It was the third straight double-double for Shaw-Clarke, who also added four assists as the Bucs snapped a four-game losing streak and are now 2-14 on the season.
Jalil Langston recorded his second double-double of the season with 19 points and 10 rebounds while William Steger had a season-high 17 points and a team-high six assists and Joel Contreras added 15 points, six rebounds, four steals and three assists in the win.
The Bucs are back in action on Monday at Voorheesville at 8 p.m.
